The HVID Cocoon, made from 100% merino wool, is designed to give your baby a safe, warm, and secure feeling, reminiscent of the womb. Its soft, enveloping shape helps your baby to calm down and feel relaxed. It’s a gentle, natural form of swaddling: your baby lies snug and safe, but still has plenty of freedom of movement.

When you use the cocoon from birth, your baby quickly gets used to the feeling and will settle more easily. In practice, many parents find that babies visibly become calmer when they are in the cocoon. Thanks to the temperature-regulating properties of merino wool, your baby stays comfortably warm without the risk of overheating.

The cocoon is ideal for daytime use: during feedings, naps, walks, or after a warm bath. It fits perfectly in the pram, is great on the sofa, and is very suitable for premature babies as it helps to keep their body temperature stable.

Instructions for use

The cocoon grows with your baby.

• For newborns, place the knot high so that your baby cannot slip into it

• Gradually lower the knot as your baby grows

• Arms can be inside the cocoon or freely outside

• The hood can be worn up or down as desired

Why merino wool for a baby?

If washing is necessary:

Use a wool detergent

Wash in a laundry net

Wool program at 20°C, low speed

Machine washing is at your own risk

Dry flat

Light pilling initially is normal and will stabilize on its own
