Our knitted cuddly toys are entirely handmade in a fair trade workshop in Bolivia. This workshop offers good working conditions and a fair income to women who cannot read or write. This solidarity-based economy contributes to improving the living conditions of families and ensures that children can go to school.

All our cuddly toys are made from pure baby alpaca wool, a renewable, very ecological natural fiber. They are filled with fibers from recycled plastic bottles. The wool comes from a spinning mill in the Bolivian Andes, which is supplied by small breeders. We use the natural colors of alpaca as much as possible: white, black, shades of gray, and brown. All our other colors are made with environmentally friendly, non-toxic dyes.

You can machine wash your soft toy at 30°C on a delicate cycle. However, we recommend hand washing it as often as possible in cold water with a mild detergent such as baby shampoo. Let it soak for a few minutes, gently rub it, and rinse it. Carefully remove excess water, without wringing or twisting. Reshape the soft toy, place it on a dry towel, and let it air dry.

Make sure your soft toy is completely dry before storing it. Store it with a sachet of dried lavender to repel moths. Cedar chips are also useful for repelling insects and harmful organisms.
