BEFORE FIRST USE

Shake out the product to remove any loose wool hairs.
Wool has a natural scent; if you find this unpleasant, you can air out the blanket outdoors first.

Due to friction, wool fibers can clump together into small balls (pilling); this is a natural process. You can gently pull these balls off with your fingers.
To maintain the beautiful texture of your product, we recommend regularly combing the wool with a wool comb.

A stain?

Blot the stain with a paper towel; this is often sufficient. If this doesn't work, treat the stain with liquid Ox gall soap. Gently massage the stain with a little gall soap and then wipe the area clean with a damp cloth.

Freshen up your wool product by airing it outside or in a humid bathroom. If airing isn't enough, then it's time for a wash.

Washing:

Use a 30-degree wool wash program and a wool detergent.
Always wash the product separately, not with other garments. Shake out the product as soon as it comes out of the washing machine and let it dry flat, possibly on a towel.

Shake the product again when it's dry and remove any pilling.

Note: never use a dryer, do not place it on a heater, and do not let it dry in direct sunlight.
