Manufacturing:

Our knitted plush toys are entirely handmade in a fair-trade workshop in Bolivia. This workshop provides good working conditions and a fair income to women who cannot read or write. This solidarity-based economy contributes to improving families' living conditions and ensures that children can go to school.

All our plush toys are made from pure baby alpaca wool, a renewable, highly ecological natural fibre. They are filled with fibres from recycled plastic bottles. The wool comes from a spinning mill in the Bolivian Andes, supplied by small breeders. We use the natural colours of alpaca as much as possible: white, black, shades of grey and brown. All our other colours are made with eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes.

You can wash your cuddly toy in the washing machine at 30°C on a delicate cycle. However, we recommend hand washing it as often as possible in cold water with a mild detergent such as baby shampoo. Let it soak for a few minutes, gently rub it, and rinse it. Carefully remove excess water, without wringing or twisting. Reshape the cuddly toy, place it on a dry towel, and let it air dry.

Make sure your cuddly toy is completely dry before storing it. Store it with a sachet of dried lavender to repel moths. Cedar chips are also useful for repelling insects and harmful organisms.
